There are just 72 days until Election Day. I wanted to take this opportunity to check in and let you know how grateful I am for all of the support I have received thus far. The last week has been overwhelming but so powerful: I door knocked with a group of 20+ volunteers who knocked over 1300 doors, I walked in a parade with Congresswoman Betty McCollum, I had a chance to speak with Sen. Amy Klobuchar, and our campaign has received generous financial support from many, many supporters. While knocking on doors, I was welcomed by many with smiles and offers of support. And on Saturday, I was moved by a WWII Navy veteran in his 90s who took the time to have a conversation with me about the power of service in its many forms. It was an honor to be in his presence and he reminded me very much of my grandpa, also a WWII Navy vet, who passed away several years ago.

Thank you all for your support so far. It is greatly appreciated and fills me with hope for what we can accomplish in the next 72 days and in 2017! It is truly amazing how we can lift each other up when we work together.
