I am filled with gratitude to the voters of my district, to my family, to those who have come before me, and to the many volunteers who gave their time, money, and hearts to this campaign. I know many are deeply disappointed and saddened by other election results.

By the time most of you read this, it will be “after Labor Day.” There will be only 63 days (or less) until Election Day, and 17 days (or less) until early ballots start being sent
It is time for elected officials at all levels of government to stop playing the game of “You propose, I will oppose!” Our elected leaders have seemingly forgotten that their role is to act in the best interests of the people and not the best interests of their political party.
